TPAS
Echelon Consultancy is a committed commercial member of Tpas, the not-for-profit organisation, that has been championing tenant engagement since 1988, and providing engagement standards for residents, landlords and contractors.
Echelon is passionate about social value and community engagement, and we actively involve residents in the procurement process, from end-to-end, making sure they have the necessary knowledge and tools, and providing ongoing support to ensure they remain actively engaged throughout. We also encourage resident engagement beyond contract award
Our membership of Tpas enables us to gain strategic insight on key issues, whilst combining expert knowledge with other members of the leading tenant engagement experts, in raising housing standards for the future.
We also actively support the annual Tpas conference.
Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH)
Working in partnership with CIH, we have been involved in several working groups that they have facilitated, and our CEO Mathew Baxter contributed to the Better Social Housing Review – an initiative set up by CIH and the National Housing Federation.
CIH is also a member of our AMIP best practice and networking group, delivered by Echelon Improvement Partnerships.
Women in Social Housing
The Echelon Group is a proud member of Women in Social Housing (WISH) – the only membership-based network for women working across every discipline of the UK housing sector.
Our corporate membership gives our team access to events across all 10 WISH regions, as well as webinars etc.
WISH aims to create a lasting legacy we can all be proud of within the UK housing sector: by challenging gender inequality and the gender pay gap, by encouraging new and existing female talent to remain in the sector and by women boosting one another through career successes – values which align closely with those of the Echelon Group.
