Sharon’s diverse role sees her lead on multiple projects, in addition to project managing procurement activity and heading up Echelon’s project management team.
She is responsible for the day-to-day management of the team, co-ordinating its workload and Echelon’s project pipeline to ensure that resources are maximised, and that contracts are delivered within often challenging deadlines.
She has worked with a broad spectrum of clients, large and small, managing the procurement process, from project kick-off to mobilisation, and facilitating project-specific workshops, such as “Bidders Briefing Days,” to establish the client’s requirements for new contracts and to ensure that all key drivers are met.
Sharon also works with team members from group company Pretium Frameworks Ltd to hand over procured frameworks ready for ongoing management.
She delivers training to housing providers and contractors, on topics including procurement and building safety.
Echelon Improvement Partnerships also falls under Sharon’s remit, and she is involved in running Echelon’s disrepair industry subgroups, as well as supporting with the delivery of AMIP meetings and the annual Echelon Conference.
Shoeaholic Sharon has a collection of over 300 pairs. The keen cook, whose favourite cuisine is Spanish, also enjoys reading in her spare time.
