Vanessa, who produces a range of commercial documentation to support Echelon’s procurement projects, uses her strong analytical skills and background in finance to evaluate tenders and ensure that contracts are delivering as intended.

Through options appraisals she helps clients drive service improvements, increase tenant satisfaction and develop future options for service delivery. She manages annual and contract performance reviews to facilitate efficient commercial management of ongoing contracts and conducts commercial analysis including benchmarking of repairs and maintenance data.

Vanessa has also produced commercial documentation and pricing schedules for frameworks developed by Echelon Consultancy and delivered by Pretium Frameworks Ltd.

She has 25 years’ experience in a variety of finance roles and an in-depth knowledge of process improvement and operational management, with previous roles including Lead Finance Business Partner at Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Combined Authority

Outside of work Vanessa, a former co-owner of Rutland Sanctuary Zoo, enjoys spending time with her husband Rick, their three children and menagerie of animals, including two dogs, a rainbow lorikeet, a tortoise, an African bullfrog, two argus monitor lizards and 80 snakes.
