As Echelon’s resident technical expert, Tony leads on all things IT-related and his background lies in finance, as well as programming and technical skills.

Tony works with clients, from the tender stages to mobilisation, to create fit-for-purpose IT solutions for new contracts. He gains an understanding of clients’ practical requirements for an IT system, incorporating the information into tender documents and making structures that have been mapped out on paper into a reality within clients’ IT systems.

He is adept at configuring systems and structuring them to support contracts, working with legacy systems to make sure that they can be used effectively for the delivery of services.

Tony is a skiing enthusiast and ran a ski group for over ten years introducing people of colour to the world of snow. This hobby has taken him all over the world, including taking a group of 100 people to Japan. However, the knees can no longer take the rough and tumble, so a leisurely coast on the snowboard is more than enough nowadays. Keeping the zimmer frame out of the way can be a challenge though!
