Golf day raises cash for homeless charity
A charity golf day attended by members of the Echelon team has raised almost £8,000 to support young people who are homeless or a risk of homelessness.
Echelon Group CEO Mathew Baxter, Financial Controller Simon Tipple, Consultant Mike Gammack, and Jamie Baxter participated in the event at Stocks Golf Club.
A total of 72 golfers took to the green and put their skills to the test at the tournament, which raised £7989.56 for Herts Young Homeless.
The money will provide much-needed support for vulnerable young people in Hertfordshire and allow HYH to continue providing invaluable services to those at risk of homelessness, such as providing food and essentials, as well as deposits and rent in advance, and running counselling, mediation and outreach sessions, and an advice line.
Mathew is a Trustee on the Board of HYH, and as a proud charity partner Echelon has raised over £100,000 for the organisation to date.
