Over 300 people attend Echelon Conference 2025
Over 300 social housing professionals attended the Echelon Conference 2025 at the Emirates Stadium.
The Future is Here was the theme for this year’s event, sponsored by Devonshires Solicitors, Equans, Gunfire, Guildmore, Gilmartins, Northgate Vehicle Hire, Foster Property Maintenance, Mears, Fortem Solutions, Morgan Sindall Property Services and LIFEbuild Solutions.
Echelon MD Aaron John was the host for the day, which started with an inspiring opening speech from Chief Fire Officer Dr Sabrina Cohen-Hatton, leading voice on decision-making in high-pressure environment.

The afternoon started with a lively keynote session on the evolving role of the Building Safety Regulator, chaired by Tpas Associate and former Chief Fire Officer, Andy Fry OBE.
He was joined by Aman Sharma MBE, CEO, Totus Digital, Member of the Building Advisory Committee Chair of BSI Committee FSH/0, Tim Galloway, Deputy Director for Regime Development and Regulatory Support, Building Safety Regulator (BSR) and Holly Watson, Associate Director of Safety Management, Frankham RMS.

The afternoon agenda, also included:
- The Government’s ambitious plans to build 1.5 million homes
- Meaningful tenant involvement
- The use of frameworks under the new Procurement Act
The conference rounded off with a Q&A where delegates were able to put their questions to the expert panel of to the expert panel of Mark London, Partner, Devonshires, Alison Inman, Chair, Tpas, Vlad Nedelcu, Chief Operating Officer, PiLON, Holly Watson, Associate Director of Safety Management, Frankham RMS, Andy Fry, Tpas Associate, and Luke Driscoll, Director of Asset Management & Sustainability, The Hyde Group.

Delegates were able to put their feet up and recharge their batteries in the Recharge Zone sponsored by Bell, and to catch up on important calls and emails in the work hubs sponsored by E2EX.
There was also an exhibition, showcasing innovations, products and services from across the sector.
