Market engagement with Norwich City Council

Echelon supported Norwich City Council with a market engagement event, to capture the views of the market and provide more information on the procurement of its capital works service.

Over 50 people attended the event, held in the council chambers, which was facilitated by members of our team including Consultant Peter Gudge, Director of Partnerships and Procurement Sharon Hunt and Procurement Project Co-ordinator Jessica Welch.

The council is looking to secure two contractors on multi-million-pound contracts to deliver workstreams such as kitchens, bathrooms, windows, doors, roofing and Solar/PV for its housing stock. Starting in November 2025, it is expected that the contracts will run for 10 years.

The event included presentations from Norwich City Council, and Echelon, and we carried out an interactive and anonymous poll of attendees to gauge their opinions on the proposed contracts.
