Echelon team attend Procurement Act Live
Director of Partnerships and Procurement Sharon Hunt and Procurement and Project Manager Joey Barron attended the Procurement Act Live at the NEC Birmingham.
The new Act came into force on 24 February, and the event gave the team the opportunity to explore its impacts with other industry leaders, with talks on the use of artificial intelligence in procurement, social value, and opportunities for SMEs.
The event brought together hundreds of professionals from across the sector together and featured presentations from MP Georgia Gould and Deputy Director for Procurement Reform at the Cabinet Office, Lindsay Maguire.
It was a great opportunity for the team to explore the future of public procurement.
The event will be followed by Procurement Act Live 2025: The Journey So Far on Tuesday 14 October at ExCeL London.
