Echelon joins sector leaders at Housing Brighton
The Echelon team enjoyed a successful couple of days at Housing Brighton 2026 this week, connecting with housing professionals and sector leaders.

This year’s event, held at the DoubleTree by Hilton Brighton Metropole, placed a strong emphasis on people and place, with discussions focused on planning, development, sustainability and the importance of maintaining momentum across projects in a rapidly evolving housing landscape.
Sharon Hunt, Richard Mardle, Mathew Baxter and Aaron John, represented Echelon Consultancy, and the wider group, alongside Pretium colleagues Jessica John, Millie Davis and Joanne De Sousa.

The team enjoyed two busy days of discussion, networking and insight focused on the future of housing, planning and development, and Aaron and Mathew both took to the conference stage.
Mathew led the session “What does the Decent Homes Standard mean in Practice?” focused on the implications of the government’s proposed updates to the Decent Homes Standard and what they mean for housing quality across London and the Southeast.
Aaron chaired “Implementing Awaab’s Law Principles and Vulnerability Considerations” in, exploring how the principles of Awaab’s Law and vulnerability awareness can be embedded into day-to-day repairs and maintenance practices.
