Collaborative procurement shortlisted at 2023 GO Awards
Echelon Consultancy and Greener Futures Partnership (GFP) have been shortlisted in the Collaborative Procurement category at tonight’s GO Awards.
The Greener Futures Partnership – GFP – comprises five housing associations (Abri Group, Anchor, Home Group, The Hyde Group, Sanctuary Housing Association) which joined forces to bid for Social Housing Decarbonisation Funding (SHDF), to improve the energy efficiency and affordability of their combined stock of over 300,000 homes.
Echelon Consultancy worked with GFP to procure a framework to provide retrofit work and professional consultancy services, and support the delivery of decarbonisation works, to ensure homes achieve at least an EPC Rating of C, by 2030.
The aim of the framework, covering England and Wales, with a parallel framework for Scotland, is to create a sector-leading route to market, with a truly collaborative approach, where all parties contribute and continually develop best practice.
The procurement process has been truly collaborative throughout, with active involvement and equal input from all members at all stages, from market engagement, scoping, and document production, to the development of the commercial models.
